Anyone carrying out work on the highways in England and possessing a Street works accreditation will be required to be reassessed every 5 years for professional competence.
This process became a legislative requirement in April 2011.
To clarify, these regulations specify the requirement that supervisors and operatives, working in England, must be reassessed every five years to confirm that they are still competent before they can re-register and continue to carry out street works.
The Street works examination will consist of 10 multiple choice questions for each unit /category held
The time allocated for each question paper is 20 minutes.
The pass mark for all reassessed tests is 80% (8 of the 10 questions for each unit correct)
If a candidate holds the supervisory and operative ticket, the candidate will be required to attend two assessment days
It is recommended that candidates attend a one day refresher session prior to attending the reassessment process
